The first half of this year has been a time of remembering...
Jan and I were Blessed to have traveled all over this country, soaking in its beauty. We also spent time in the Caribbean. Jan was a reluctant flyer. In 1999 we decide to fly to Scotland. Both our families have Celtic roots. We got ideal seats on British Airways and flew non-stop to Edinburgh with just a touch down in London. This trip was wonderful with first class accommodations all along the way thanks to our friends in the travel agency.

(Footnote: Carnoustie Golf Club hosted ‘The Open’ the year we visited. I met the Greens Superintendent, who was a Smith, on the first fairway. He said that many of their past club champions were Smiths.)
